Our current range of multi stage telescopic cylinders range from 3" bore through to 6" bore, and from single stage to four stages, capable of tipping loads from 3 tons to 20 tons.

The below table details the standard range of multi-stage telescopic cylinders for tipping trailers, and associated applications.

Variations to the standard cylinders listed below can be produced to individual customer specifications.

Multi-Stage Displacement Cylinders

We also manufacture multi stage displacement, trunnion mounted under floor telescopic cylinders that are also used as three-way tipping cylinders. 

The range of telescopic displacement cylinders has been highly successful. Two sizes (as detailed below) are offered as standard with variations available, subject to customers’ requirements. All stages have a nitride hardening process that gives the sealing surface protection against corrosion, and also a surface hardness prolonging seal life.
