Single & Double Acting Cylinders

Many variations of single and double acting cylinders, are available, all of which are manufactured in-house. Single acting bore sealed, or low friction displacement single acting cylinders, in sizes from 25mm bore through to 200mm bore and stroke up to 3 meters in length, all manufactured to suit your requirements.

Double acting cylinders can be manufactured to customers’ drawings or our design team can prepare a specification that suits the customers’ needs.

The customer also has the option to select from our popular range of double acting cylinders. Cylinder bores start from 25mm bore through to 180mm bore and can be manufactured up to 3 meters in length as standard.  Mounting arrangements to suit your particular requirements can also be offered.

All double acting cylinders are designed to take up 350 bar pressure with a safety factor built in.

Materials

All of our standard cylinders have CK45 chrome piston rods. Other options available include:

• 20Mnv6
• 38 MnV 56
• C35E
• Induction hardened for construction type cylinders
• Nickel Chrome for offshore and Marine applications

We offer a wide range of bespoke and standard mountings and ends to all of our cylinders. Our wide experience across numerous industries and applications means that we can design the correct cylinder for you.
